Performance in 4D Sound

The work 'Refracted Metals' was an early exploration in the practice of using layered recordings to create 'imagined and abstracted industrial soundscapes'.

Working extensively with the sound team at the Monom space, Berlin, a reconfiguration of the existing operating system allowed for up to 52 layers of sounds to be positioned and tracked throughout a three dimensional sound space to create a completely immersive sonic environment for a three hour performance within the space.
